Yes – it’s true! You asked, and we listened.

Reefer Poker is pleased to announce the launch of our new VIP Program – Reefer Rewards. Please take a few moments to review the following information as it will help you understand all of the exciting changes that will be made as of Wednesday, April 1st.

*The Reefer Poker site will be down for approximately 3 hours beginning at 0001 on Wednesday, April 1st while the new program is integrated. Note that the changes below will not appear visible to you until this has been completed.

The new Reefer Rewards program is based on a system of points called VIP Points that are earned as you generate rake in cash games, and pay tournament buy-in fees. VIP points are awarded at a rate of 1 point for every 10 cents that you generate in rake or tournament fee, and you will see your balance under a special VIP tab in the main poker lobby.

Achieving minimum VIP point earnings each month will provide you with instant cash rebates, and as you achieve higher levels you will receive many benefits as a player, including exclusive VIP Freeroll Tournaments for VIP members at your level or higher, cash awards, guaranteed tournament entries, and merchandise. Please keep an eye on The Buzz each month as we add new rewards to the different levels.

You will also have the option of using your VIP Points for tournament entries, and be given the option of redeeming them for cash. A listing of the redemption value of your points will be listed on the poker site and it is an easy click of the button to change them to cash. VIP tournament entries include both multi-table and Sit & Go tournaments, as well as satellite tournaments into major events.

Use them or lose them! A small percentage of your VIP Points will be removed from your account each month if you do not meet minimum new VIP Point earnings. Make the minimum, and you keep them all! The following chart outlines how this works.

VIP Ruby

• Earn a minimum of 500 points each month or 100 points will be deducted from your balance.
• Must have a minimum balance of 500 VIP Points

VIP Sapphire

• Earn a minimum of 1,000 points each month or 500 points will be deducted from your balance.
• Minimum balance of 5,000 VIP Points

VIP Emerald

• Earn a minimum of 2,000 points each month or 2,000 points will be deducted from your balance.
• Minimum balance of 25,000 VIP Points

VIP Diamond

• Earn a minimum of 5,000 points each month or 5,000 points will be deducted from your balance.
• Minimum balance of 100,000 VIP Points

Comp Points

Comp points are currently awarded based on play and are used to release pending bonus amounts. As of March 1st there will no longer be any comp points issued, and instead bonuses will be released as VIP points are earned.

While comp points have no actual value, the comp points that you have in your account may be usable for certain tournament entries that you will see in the tournament lobby. Theses tournaments will have a comp point entry cost, and will award top finishers with VIP points.
