These are a series of satellite tournaments that feed a main event that will award the winner(s) with €1,750 entries to the 5th annual Belgian Poker Open, held from Nov 21 – 29, 2009, at Casino de Namur, in Namur Belgium. The event is one of the biggest poker tournaments in Europe with last years prize pool over €1.1 million with 843 players.

The first satellite event will commence on Sunday, September 6, 2009. Each following satellite event will occur on a Sunday, with the final satellite event on Sunday, November 1, 2009. One seat in the Belgian Poker Main Event will be awarded for each 11 players in a satellite event, with the remaining cash being paid out 50%/30%/20% to the next 3 highest placed players. The Main Event will take place on November 8th, 2009 where one €1,750 seat at the Belgian Poker Open will be awarded for each $2,000 in the prize pool with the remaining cash being paid out 50%/30%/20% to the next 3 highest placed players.
