Shootout Tournaments

Reefer Poker is pleased to offer players Shootout Tournaments in the main tournament lobby. Unlike regular tournaments where tables are balanced throughout the event by reducing the number of tables by moving players into seats that are vacated, with shootout tournaments players remain at the table they start at until they are the last one remaining. At that point the tables are consolidated and the remaining players start again in a new round, with a full table. This process continues until there is only one table left.

For example, a tournament with 100 players would start with 10 players each seated at 10 tables in total. When 9 of the 10 players at each table have been eliminated, the remaining 10 players – 1 from each table, join the final table.

Some shootout tournaments may be set up to end each round when the table is down to 3 players remaining as opposed to 1. In this case 3 players would move from each table to the next round. Check the tournament lobby of our shootout tourneys to confirm the number of players that will be eliminated in each round from our tables.
